MW3 NAT helps you in playing online with numerous players on the network. It is impossible for you to host a match if the NAT is strict and does not accept other players. Hence, it is imperative that you change the NAT type from strict to open.

Open MW3 NAT For PlayStation

Step 1 Switch on your PlayStation and go to Settings in the main menu.

Step 2 Locate Network Settings on the list. You will find it near the bottom.

Step 3 Once you select Network Settings, move the cursor to the right; a list will be visible. Choose the option that says Settings and Connections Status List.

Step 4 Note the values against IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Router. Now, return to the Network Settings option.

Step 5 Choose Internet Connection Settings from the list that appears on the right.

Step 6 Select OK for the message that comes up.

Step 7 For the setup method, choose Custom.

Step 8 Select either Wireless or Wired Connection depending on the way your PlayStation is connected to the internet.

Step 9 Now, you will have to set up the connection manually. Hence, you should select Manual Settings.

Step 10 For the speed and duplex settings, choose Auto Detect.

Step 11 On the IP Address Settings Page, you should go to Manual Settings.

Step 12 Choose an IP address, which is different from the one in the router DHCP range.

Step 13 Enter the same values that you copied in step 4.

Step 14 Next, you will have to mention the DNS servers that your PSP3 will be using. For this, you should call your ISP and let them know clearly for what you need the IP addresses. They will provide you with 2 addresses – one for the primary and another for the temporary DNS servers.

Step 15 At the MTU page, go for Automatic.

Step 16 On the Proxy Server page, select the option Do Not Use.

Step 17 From the UpNp options, select Disable.

Step 18 In this step, you will have to save your PSP3′s IP address.

Step 19 On the following page, choose Test Settings.

Step 20 Notice that all of your tests have passed except for the UpNp test because you had disabled it.

Open MW3 NAT For PC

Step 1 Right click My Computer and choose properties. Note your computer name.

Step 2 Click Start button and type run on the Search program box. Choose run from the list that opens up. Now, type cmd in the box.

Step 3 Type ipconfig in the cmd window and press enter.

Step 4 Write down the IP address, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway.

Step 5 Now, open your Router Page by typing 192.168.1.1 in the Address bar of your browser.

Step 6 Go to the Basic Setup Page and click the DHCP Reservation button.

Step 7 Check the box against your computer name. Click Add Client button.

Step 8 Click Save Settings.

Step 9 Open Control Panel and go to Network and Sharing Center. Choose Change Adapter Settings from the panel on the left. Right click on Local Area Network and choose properties.

Step 10 Select IPV4 and choose Properties. Check the Use the following IP address radio button.

Step 11 Now, fill up the fields with the same values which you wrote down in Step 4.
